During our drafting stage I always plan out my message to the McKinley community. The staff brainstorms with each other thinking up what the students needs and wants to know.

After putting the print paper in teacher's boxes, we go out and remind teachers to pass out The Pinion to their classes. We also advertise our stories our Instagram page to gain more interaction and visibility.

Audience

Below are photos of our Instagram page analytics. We mainly have a young audience in Honolulu, and we have the most interaction on our page at night.
